Egypt with a campaign to boost tourists confidence to visit the country
Egypt has rolled out a proactive media initiative aimed at reinforcing confidence in the country’s tourism sector and highlighting its safe, stable environment.
In response to ongoing regional developments, the Ministry of Tourism, working alongside the Egyptian Tourism Federation, is capturing real-time visitor experiences to reassure global audiences that Egypt remains a secure and hospitable destination.
At the heart of the campaign are short, daily video testimonials featuring international travelers exploring Egypt’s leading tourist sites. Shared across the Ministry’s digital channels and those of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, these clips showcase authentic moments and the positive experiences of visitors on the ground.
Tourism Minister Sherif Fathy is closely reviewing the content to track visitor satisfaction and assess any impact from regional dynamics. Beyond addressing misinformation, the initiative also provides valuable insights to help improve service standards and enhance the overall guest experience.
Ahmed Youssef, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, said the videos consistently highlight a strong sense of safety among tourists. “Egypt continues to be perceived as a safe destination,” he noted, adding that the Authority aims to amplify a wide range of visitor perspectives.
Suzan Mostafa, Head of the Central Department of Tourism Marketing, emphasized that the campaign offers a “real-time snapshot” of tourism activity in Egypt. By sharing genuine, on-the-spot impressions, the initiative underscores the country’s diverse appeal and stable conditions, demonstrating that tourism flows remain steady despite regional tensions.
