El Al Airlines launching Vegas flights in the summer
Israel’s El Al Airlines is launching new nonstop service to Las Vegas in the summer.
The route kicks off in June 2019 and will operate weekly.
El Al will deploy 330-seat Dreamliner aircraft on the route, offering economy, premium and business class seating.
"The nonstop flights to Las Vegas, with departures from Tel Aviv on Fridays and returning on Saturday night, are particularly attractive for the popular business-and-pleasure mix," said El Al CEO Gonen Usishkin.
"In recent years, Las Vegas has become very attractive for the Israeli leisure travelers and also among the business sector."
The carrier also announced nonstop service to San Francisco, which along with Vegas service takes to six the number of US destinations served.
Current service includes New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and Miami, as well as Toronto in Canada.
The airline flew more than five million passengers in 2017.
