Elegant Resorts choose Travelink for complete reservations system
Luxury travel company Elegant Resorts Limited has opted for a tailor-made software solution from Travelink Systems Limited, who beat off competition from four rival firms to secure the prestigious contract.
The selection process was rigorous, and involved a series of detailed demonstrations, evaluations and meetings, culminating in a formal sign-up in the New Year.
“We intend to take this decision only once and needed to be sure we bought a system that was flexible and powerful enough to meet our requirements,” said Elegant Resorts director Paul Atkinson. The Chester-based company markets luxurious holidays in exclusive resorts worldwide and has over 200 staff.
Elegant Resorts have opted for a comprehensive bookings system that integrates the airline CRS Galileo and includes groundbreaking browser-based technology. When it goes live in a few months, the customised software will enable Elegant Resorts staff to quote and confirm all elements of detailed bookings seamlessly, without using any other system.
Travelink spokesman Ceri Jones said: “We are delighted to have won this significant contract and have already begun software development and training for the 200 users the system will support at Elegant Resorts. To safeguard our capacity to service all our clients, we have taken on four new staff and are planning to enlarge the team further.”
