Emirates first class crew member confirmed as Love Island contestant
Emirates’ first class cabin crew member Laura Anderson has been confirmed as one of the contestants in this year’s Love Island.
Amongst other 10 contestants taking part in the hit TV show, which starts on Monday, is barmaid Dani Dyer, the daughter of Eastenders’ star Danny Dyer.
Dubai-based Anderson, who comes from Stirling in Scotland, has been working at Emirates since 2010.
She lists her previous roles on LinkedIn as catering assistant for Regis Banqueting, model, hostess and promoter, and cabin crew for XL Airways.
At 29 she is one of the oldest contestant to go into the villa in Majorca. In media interviews she has claimed to have dated nine men, including two ‘in the public eye’. She describes herself as ‘motherly’ and ‘intense’.
Series four of the ITV2 show will be based in the same private villa in Majorca, just outside the town of San Llorenc des Cardassar on the island’s east coast, where filming too place last year.
Several of 2017’s contestants went on to pick up promotional roles in the travel industry, including ‘Chris and Kem’ who were hired by First Choice for a social media campaign, and Gabby and Marcel who are working with CLIA.
