Emirates hails first year success of Premium Economy
Emirates is celebrating a banner first year of full-service Premium Economy operations.
The airlines says over 160,000 customers have traded up to fly in Emirates Premium Economy since it was introduced in August 2022.
It forecasts strong demand in the coming months.
The Emirates Premium Economy product is currently available on flights to 11 cities.
This will increase to 13 cities by the end of the year as more retrofitted aircraft come into service.

Emirates says customer response has been overwhelmingly positive with bookings growing month on month.
Nearly half of customers flying in Emirates Premium Economy are solo travellers along with couples and families.
More than 60% of customers who booked Emirates Premium Economy were Emirates Skywards loyalty members.
Emirates currently flies its Airbus A380s with Premium Economy cabins to destinations including London Heathrow, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Los Angeles, New York JFK, and Duba.
The airline plans to make Premium Economy available to customers flying to/from Mumbai and Bengaluru from 29 October.
Further cities will be announced soon.
