Emirates partners with Destination New South Wales
Gulf carrier Emirates has inked its strategic partnership with regional tourism and events agency Destination NSW.
Emirates has added capacity on its Dubai to Sydney route and currently operates three New South Wales daily flights, including a double daily A380 service.
The airline says it is seeing big demand for newly introduced Premium Economy on Sydney flights.
The collaboration will help promote travel to Sydney and across the state of New South Wales.
It is supported through the NSW Government’s Aviation Attraction Fund which was designed to rebuild aviation capacity after Covid-19.
Beyond Sydney travellers within hours can find themselves among outback plains and vineyards.
They can venture through lush rainforests and even go skiing.
The unique combination of culture and nature makes NSW the most popular of all Australian states among international travellers, Destination NSW says.
Emirates is currently undergoing an extensive multi-billion dollar retrofit programme.
Flights to Sydney have been among the first to welcome the latest cabins including Premium Economy, due to the high demand.
Emirates is continuing to expand its network globally, currently serving more than 140 destinations
