Ensemble Travel Group names new marketing VP
Ensemble Travel Group has hired Carl Schmitt as the company’s new marketing vice president.
Schmitt began in the role this week and is responsible for marketing programs across the Ensemble global network, including press and digital marketing.
He has decades of experience across global brand management including B2B sales and customer relationship management.
His past roles were in insurance and the healthcare industry including CVS Pharmacy and Avon Products.
"While Carl comes from outside the travel industry, his professional background has many parallels to Ensemble’s model of supporting members’ needs with results-driven marketing and business solutions," said Ensemble co-president Libbie Rice.
"That said, we’re excited about the fresh perspective and new ideas he will bring to this position. Carl is strong in analytics and technology and is highly collaborative, which is important as we continue to capitalize on North American synergies."
