Entries wanted for ITE travel awards
SINGAPORE – Tourism service providers have just a few days to enter the inaugural Tourism Alliance Awards which will recognise the brightest tourism stars in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
Entries to the awards close next Monday, August 31.
There are 10 award categories awaiting nominations.
They are:
Restaurant of the Year
Domestic Airline of the Year
International Airline of the Year
Outbound Travel Operator of the Year
Inbound Travel Operator of the Year
Spa Operator of the Year
Luxury Hotel of the Year
Business Hotel of the Year
Budget Hotel of the Year
Resort Hotel of the Year
“This is a great opportunity for organisations to be recognised as a successful company with service excellence and to benchmark against other top tourism service providers. We’re encouraging all travel and tourism businesses to get their entries in fast,†said Rosalind Ng, managing director of IIR Exhibitions.
The Tourism Alliance Awards celebrate the 5th International Travel Expo, Ho Chi Minh City 2009 (ITE HCMC 2009), October 1-3.
The expo is co-organised by IIR Exhibitions, Vietnam Tourism Association, Cambodian Association of Travel Agents, Cambodia Hotel Association and Laos Association of Travel Agents.
To enter the Tourism Alliance Awards entrants must submit their nominations online at www.itehcmc.com/taa.
