Etihad adds third A380 superjumbo on London Heathrow route
Etihad Airways has added a third daily Airbus A380 superjumbo on its busy London Heathrow to Abu Dhabi route.
The new A380 service is to meet high customer demand.
The aircraft upgrade significantly boosts capacity on Abu Dhabi flights.
Ed Fotheringham, Etihad VP of Global Sales, said: “Our third A380 on Abu Dhabi flights to London is great news for our guests.”
“The aircraft adds increased capacity and is ideally timed to further connect people between the UK, the UAE and onwards across the global network.”
Etihad’s A380 service is available to book on www.etihad.com or through travel agents.
The 68 Economy Space seats offer an additional four inches in leg room, and 337 Economy Smart seats come with Etihad’s signature fixed-wing headrest.
The 70 Business Studios are available on Etihad’s A380 superjumbo upper deck, with access to The Lobby, a serviced lounge and bar area.
Dining service features ceramics, glassware, cutlery and serving ware.
The A380 superjumbo features nine First Apartments with a private living space and an ottoman which converts into an 80″ lie-flat bed.
Also available is The Residence, the world’s only three-room suite in the sky.
