Etihad, Air Serbia launch new codeshare
Etihad Airways has sealed a new airline codeshare agreement with Air Serbia offering its customers more seamless travel across Europe and beyond.
Etihad’s customers gain access to 12 Southeast European destinations via Air Serbia’s Belgrade hub.
Nine of these destinations are new to Etihad’s extended partner network.
The airline codeshare arrangement allows for one-time check in and baggage handling to the final destination on a single booking.
Air Serbia’s network is accessible to Etihad’s customers from Etihad’s European gateways in Athens, Milan, Rome and Vienna.
Jurriaan Stelder, Etihad VP Alliances and Industry Affairs, said: “This partnership further expands our codeshare network and provides our guests with convenient access to 12 of Air Serbia’s leisure and business destinations.”
“We also look forward to warmly welcoming Air Serbia customers travelling from Europe to Abu Dhabi.”
Members can earn or redeem Etihad Guest miles across the Etihad Airways and Air Serbia networks.
The new codeshare is effective for travel starting 3 February 2024.
