Etihad expands sales team
Etihad Airways has expanded its sales presence in Scotland ahead of the launch of its Edinburgh-Abu Dhabi service on June 8.
Justin Gosling, previously general manager of Air Seychelles, has been appointed sales manager, Scotland and Fiona McNicol has joined as account manager, corporate sales.
McNicol joins from outside the industry and has worked in a commercial management role within Scotland’s largest retail shopping centre, The Saint Enoch in Glasgow.
The new recruits will work alongside Greig White, who has overseen Etihad sales in Scotland for a number of years and who has been appointed account manager, leisure sales.
Etihad general manager UK Clive Wratten said: "2015 is an exciting year for Etihad Airways as we start our first flights from Scotland…linking Edinburgh with Abu Dhabi and more than 100 onward destinations across the globe."
The non-stop service will operate daily on an Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 22 business class and 240 economy class seats.
