Etihad extends free chauffeur service to Brisbane premium customers
Etihad Airways says that it continues to enhance the experience it offers its customers on the ground with the introduction of a new complimentary luxury chauffeur service for premium customers travelling to and from Brisbane Airport.
From October 30, business class passengers were eligible for the Etihad Chauffeur service for travel within an 80 kilometre radius of Brisbane Airport, which includes part of the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.
Lindsay White, Etihad Airways’ General Manager Australia and New Zealand, said, “Etihad has established a reputation for conforming to the very highest standards of service and the extension of Etihad Chauffeur service into Brisbane is another example of our commitment to quality.”
“We believe the Etihad experience should begin on the ground and the new chauffeur service totally eliminates the stress passengers sometimes experience in the journey travelling to and from the airport.â€
The airline has selected the luxurious executive Holden Caprice for business class passengers, operated by Hughes Limousines, one of Brisbane’s most prominent chauffeur- transportation companies.
Customers flying into Brisbane from Abu Dhabi with Etihad Airways will be met in the arrivals area and escorted to their limousine by their chauffeur, ensuring little time is wasted at the airport.
The chauffeur service is just one way the airline is making flying a more enjoyable experience for Australians.
New additions to the airline include a tantalising menu and the introduction of a new dining dimension with specialised food and beverage managers on board long haul flights.
The Etihad Chauffeur service is also available to the airline’s first and business class customers at Abu Dhabi, London Heathrow, Manchester, Dublin, Bangkok, New York, Munich, Frankfurt, Sydney, Paris, Geneva and Toronto, with more destinations to be added during the remainder of 2008 and 2009.
