Etihad release early birds
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is offering Australian air travellers a chance to take a trip of a lifetime with the launch today of special discounted ‘Early Bird’ fares to Europe in 2008.
The great value airfares, which include taxes, levies and fuel surcharges, cover a range of European destinations in Coral economy class and Pearl business class.
Fares in economy from Sydney to Dublin start from $1797 and Brisbane to Paris from $1817. The fares are on sale until 21 December this year for travel between the periods 21 January – 24 February 2008 and 4 October – 11 November 2008.
Cramer Ball, Country Manager for Etihad Airways, said: ‘Etihad has a well developed European network. We offer services not only to the traditional European travel hubs of London, Paris and Frankfurt, but also a number of niche destinations including Dublin, Geneva, Brussels, Munich and Milan. Etihad’s Early Bird fares provide a great opportunity for Australian travellers to take that dream holiday of a lifetime. They are exceptionally great value”.
In September 2007, Etihad Airways launched its three flights-a-week service from Brisbane to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE. The airline has recently announced it is to increase its services to Sydney in March 2008 to eleven flights per week. The airline has designed its schedule to allow passengers travelling on flights from Australia via Abu Dhabi to connect conveniently with several of the airline’s key European destinations.
