Etihad withdraws from Gatwick
UAE carrier Etihad Airways is to suspend a service from Gatwick to Abu Dhabi in favour of increasing frequency from Heathrow.
The change comes as part of the airline’s summer flying programme from March 26 which will see frequency from Heathrow rise from 12 flights a week to double daily flights.
Etihad is raising capacity by 18% across its network in the summer with 40 additional weekly flights and six new Airbus A330s and A340s.
