Europcar Asia Pacific strengthens prestige fleet with Audi

Europcar Asia Pacific has announced a renewal of their fleet supply agreement with premier vehicle manufacturer Audi.

The deal will see the number of Audi vehicles in Europcar’s fleet increased to 250 including the A3, A4 and A6 models and will also see Audi join Europcar’s signature Greenfleet program.

The Greenfleet carbon-neutralisation program is an initiative that aims to offset the carbon emissions from Europcar’s vehicles by planting trees.

Europcar Asia Pacific CEO Josh Green said the deal – now extending their partnership with Audi into a third year – was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen the Greenfleet program while also providing customers with a premium range of cars that are not available at other rental companies.

“Audi vehicles have proved to be very popular with our customers in the past and we anticipate the new range of vehicles joining the fleet will be well received and satisfy increased demand,” Mr Green said.

“We are the only car rental company in Australia to feature Audi vehicles in its fleet and the A6 model will be fitted with GPS navigation providing the ultimate in premier vehicle comfort.

“As one of Australia’s major car rental operators, we have more than 6,000 vehicles on our fleet, and we anticipate the creation of a very substantial forest as we replace the fleet and sign on new deals that support the program,” Mr Green said.

“We are proud to be the first Australian car rental company to commit to such an agreement and are seeking the support of customers and the motoring public in our efforts.”

“Customers will be able to donate towards the Greenfleet initiative whenever they hire a vehicle at a Europcar depot.”

Europcar is one of Australia’s most popular providers of car rental services, operating a large fleet of quality vehicles across a nationwide network of over 110 locations.
