European campervan sharing platform launches in the UK
European motorhome and campervan sharing platform PaulCamper has expanded its reach and launched in the UK.
Its new UK website is live at https://paulcamper.co.uk, offering holidaymakers more options for domestic road trips and campervan owners the chance to rent out their vehicles.
Prospective campers can hire from as little as one night starting from £70.00.
All rentals include fully comprehensive insurance and roadside assistance from the AA.
PaulCamper CEO Dirk Fehse said: "I am excited to launch PaulCamper in the UK, offering holidaymakers a range of new staycation options."
"I started PaulCamper back in 2013 renting out my own camper ‘Paul’ in order to reduce the running costs and was excited by the idea of making camping possible for those who didn’t want to buy their own motorhome."
"Motorhomes and campervans can be expensive to maintain, coupled with the fact they are often used for just a few weeks a year. It is for this reason I hope UK owners will feel confident in our established offering and choose to rent their campers with us."
To book a camper, prospective renters select their preferred vehicle from the varied portfolio and send an enquiry to the owner.
After discussion via the chat facility or by phone, a rental offer is issued and, once both parties agree, the booking is confirmed.
Owners can visit https://paulcamper.co.uk/become-lender/ to list their campervan.
The current UK portfolio covers a range of vehicles that can accommodate just a solo traveller up to a family of six.
They include an electric van on Orkney, a famous singer’s race-team van conversion in the Peak District, and one of the last classic T2 imports from Brazil, which is located in the South West.
It also includes brand-new motorhomes.
PaulCamper was established in 2013 and currently offers more than 8,500 vehicles for hire.
