European rail on sale

From the end of October, travel agents can pass on to travellers significant savings on their rail travels in Europe.

Travellers booking Eurail Global or Select Passes from November 1 – December 31 will save 20% off their adult, child, youth or saver pass. Travel must be completed by April 1, 2014.

Travellers via the high speed Eurostar service between London and Lille, Paris and Brussels will enjoy A$57 Standard Class tickets or A$142 in Standard Premier one way.

These tickets are available for booking from October 22 – November 30 and valid for use from November 15 until June 30 next year.

For a limited time only, Thalys is offering travellers lead in fares in 1st and 2nd class with fares starting from A$21 from Brussels to Cologne, A$36 from Paris to Brussels and A$42 from Paris to Cologne (second class).

Bookings can be made from November 7 – December 20 for travel between January 6 and March 14, 2014.
