Eurostar chaos continues
Eurostar continues to advise travellers not to travel to Paris unless absolutely necessary as French customs staff continue their industrial action.
It warned customers of queues of more than five hours at Paris Gare du Nord and of major delays and cancellations to services that will continue this week.
Anyone travelling from Paris until March 20 can change their ticket free of charge to a future date, or claim a full refund.
Workers at the Paris station have been staging industrial action for two weeks, staging ‘Brexit-style’ checks to back up their demands for additional staffing and better pay once the UK leaves the European Union.
Three Eurostar services are cancelled on Monday, two on Tuesday and three on Wednesday.
