Eurotunnel selects preferred ski operator
Eurotunnel has selected French ski specialist Leisure Direction as its preferred ski operator.
The agreement means that users of the Eurotunnel website looking for winter sports accommodation in France will be hyperlinked to Leisure Direction’s site.
The operator has increased its offering of resorts to 57 throughout the French Alps to coincide with the tie-up with the Channel Tunnel vehicle carrier.
Eurotunnel commercial director Jo Willacy said: “Self-drive is proving ever more popular as the most convenient and cost-efectice way to reach the slopes. We’re delighted to be teaming up with Lesiure Direction to offer a great value selection of ski accommodation throughout France.”
Deborah Potts of Leisure Direction added: “We know from our own ski programme that Eurotunnel is the preferred choice for the majority of ski-drive clients and we are confident that this collaboration will be a great success.”
