EVA Airways heading to Houston next year
Taiwan’s EVA Airways has announced its latest US destination.
The carrier says it will fly three times a week from Taoyuan International Airport to Houston, Texas, from June 19, 2015.
Flights will operate every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with an additional Tuesday service from July 1, the airline said.
North America is a major long haul market for EVA, which also operates to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and Guam.
It had previously announced plans for a Chicago service to start in 2016.
Last week the airline was ranked 7th in the ‘World’s Top 10 Airlines for 2015’ survey by AirlineRatings.com and voted ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ within the Asia/Pacific region.
