EVA launching flights to Phuket
Taiwan carrier EVA Air is launching a new route to the Thai island of Phuket.
It takes flight from April 2, 2020 and runs three times a week on Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
It accommodates 252 passengers with 24 Royal Laurel Class business seats.
It becomes the first route to directly connect Taipei with Phuket, which the airline says will cut return flight time by at least six hours.
Phuket is EVA’s 13th destination in the Southeast Asia region, says EVA president Clay Sun.
It offers 145 flights a week to the region.
EVA also serves the Thai cities of Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
