Every Drop Counts
The Travel Foundation and the Moroccan National Tourist Office announced the launch of ‘Every Drop Counts’ at the AITO Conference in Marrekech on 29th November. The project will work with 50 hotels and 50 riads in the Marrakech area to save water. Using simple and cost effective techniques hoteliers can expect to save up to 15% on their water bills proving that sustainability is as good for business as it is for the environment. To highlight awareness of the need to save water in Morocco, the Travel Foundation challenged all delegates at the conference to take 3 minute showers whilst there and were each given an egg-timer to aid them in their task.
