Ex-Sabre boss joins Cendant
Cendant has appointed former Sabre executive David Brown as vice president sales operations at Gulliver’s Travel Associates.
Brown, who spent ten years at Sabre, most recently as vice president of European leisure travel, will provide strategic direction for all Gulliver’s Europe, Middle East and Africa business.
Cendant chief operating officer Chris Vukelich said: “We are delighted that we are bringing such a strong industry player to the GTA team. David’s strong leadership, vision and focus will bring great value to GTA as we continue to make real progress in bringing our unrivalled content assets together with the wider Cendant organisation.”
Brown described his new employee as a “formidable player”.
“I am excited to be joining them at a time when they are truly transforming the business of travel,” he said. “GTA is a pivotal business in its portfolio.”
