Exercise hits new heights at Sofitel Brisbane
Sofitel Brisbane guests can now watch the sun rise across the city as they combine morning exercise with the sweeping views across the CBD from the newly opened gym, SoFit, on the hotel’s 30th floor.
The gym, on the same level as the hotel’s executive Club Sofitel Lounge, features a sleek and minimalist interior design with floor to ceiling windows that give a commanding outlook over the city and the river.
The gym is equipped with the latest in strength building and cardio equipment including treadmills, upright cycles, cross trainer, strength building equipment, dumb bells, fitness balls and stretch mats.
Guests can also engage the services of an innovative ‘Virtual Gym Instructor’. Jim Instructor, an interactive touch screen program offers visual instruction on how to use the state-of-the-art equipment as well as advice on stretching exercises and workout routines.
The hotel’s new gym follows the recent launch of Stephanies Spa Retreat on level 3.
Featuring seven suites, an indoor, outdoor tranquility room and signature treatments including an Opal Rasul Steam Temple and Tibetan rituals, the spa retreat provides a luxurious sanctuary for travel weary, corporate and leisure guests.
Further enhancements to the hotel include a complete refurbishment of the lobby level reception, bar and restaurant which is scheduled for completion in November.
