Exodus Travel Migrate to Amadeus
London – November 21st, 2003 – Amadeus, a leading global distribution system (GDS) and technology provider to the travel industry, have signed the leading UK adventure travel company Exodus Travel. This latest signing further cements Amadeus’ position as the number one GDS worldwide, in terms of market share, and consolidates the company’s UK market share, which is now at 21 percent. Exodus Travel, who process more than 42,000 segments per annum, have migrated to Amadeus from Galileo. The company spent three months trialling Amadeus Vista, a unique browser-based solution that is designed to make travel agencies more productive and profitable, before making the decision to switch to Amadeus. Available in over 50 countries, Vista offers agents the most extensive level of functionality and tools of any front-office platform offered by a GDS today.
