Expedia and Hostelworld drive Lonely Planet bookings
Lonely Planet has teamed with Expedia and Hostelworld.com to produce a white label site that will mean consumers can read author accommodation reviews and then make a booking.
The deal offers users tens of thousands of reviews by 360 writers on a wide variety of properties from backpacker hostels to boutique hotels.
Lonely Planet’s Global Head of Hotels & Emerging Online Business Troy Suda said: “Combining the vast number of Lonely Planet’s author accommodation reviews with the depth of inventory provided by Expedia and Hostelworld is a real win for our travellers. They get trusted advice, great pricing and wide availability in one easy to use website.â€
