Expedia Partner Solutions adds crypto payments with Travala partnership
Expedia Group B2B brand Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) has inked a key partnership with crypto-friendly booking platform Travala.
Via EPS’s API, there are more than 700,000 Expedia Group accommodations available onTravala.com allowing travelers to book stays with more than 30 forms of cryptocurrencies.
These include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin and AVA, which is Travala.com’s native cryptocurrency.
"With cryptocurrency adoption on the rise, we want to ensure our users have payment choice and transparent pricing for every trip booked. EPS Rapid is the best API product in the industry and this partnership unlocks greater accommodation choice and availability for our travelers," said Juan Otero, CEO and co-founder, Travala.com.
In May Travala.com merged with TravelbyBit to create what it says is one of the world’s largest blockchain-based travel agencies.
