Expedia rolls out mobile app for hoteliers

Thursday, 25 Sep, 2015 0
Hotel booking giant Expedia has rolled out a new dedicated mobile app just for hoteliers to better manage rates and inventory on Expedia sites.

Called the Expedia PartnerCentral App, hotel managers can use the app to monitor competitors’ activity through the MarketWatch tool, respond to guest queries while they are still at the hotel, and update last-minute inventory through the ‘Sell Tonight’ function.

The app is available in US, Canada, UK and Australia markets for iOS and Android.

The app expands its existing desktop property management service which allows hotels to ‘modify or extend your promotions with one click,’ Expedia says.

It isn’t the only new app launched by Expedia this week.

The company has rolled out a dedicated booking app for Samsung users offering exclusive deals and perks for Galaxy devices, starting with limited time $50 off a first hotel reservation costing $250 or more.
