Expedia to provide booking engine for Sky’s new travel site
Expedia Distribution has signed an exclusive deal to provide a booking website for city breaks, flights, hotels and car hire product for Sky’s new travel portal, www.sky.com/travel.
Under the deal, Sky becomes the first partner to integrate TripAdvisor real traveller reviews and Expedia Distribution’s white label booking engine.
Visitors to the Sky Travel website and the main Sky.com portal will have access to the five most recent reviews on featured hotels, which will update on a daily basis.
TripAdvisor MD Europe Marc Charron said: “We know travellers trust and rely on opinions and advice from other travellers for their holiday choices. We are pleased Sky will make TripAdvisor reviews and ratings readily available to their customers as they book.”
The Sky Travel site will provide editorial content, ranging from travel news and advice to inspirational features, video, and images.
