Explore has added 11 new tours to its 2006-07 Family Adventures programme.

The adventure tour operator’s new brochure covers 40 tour to 32 countries, ranging from lemur-spotting in Madagascar to island-hopping in the Seychelles.

The 11 new trips include the Andes and Galapagoes, a 16-day Great Wall & Warriors trip to China, Iceland, Kerala, Africa, Egypt and cruising the coast of Croatia.

Managing director Simon Tobin said: “First launched in 2002, our Family Adventures programme has proved increasingly popular year on year and the new brochure has more choice than ever before.

“We’re now travelling to destinations that are just opening up to the family holiday market. A minimum age of five years old means these really are holidays for the whole family.”

An eight-day Alpine Explorer trip in the French Alps starts at £645 per adult and £610 per child while a 17-day wildlife tour of Madagascar starts at £2,395 for adults and £2,125 for children.
