Explore appoints exec to look after agents
Adventure travel company Explore has appointed Cat Morrissey to the role of commercial and account executive within its marketing team as part of a renewed focus on the travel trade.
Morrissey will look after Explore’s online accounts and will assist commercial manager Fiona Pearcy with offering training and support to travel agents.
Morrissey previously worked as customer support executive for the sales team at Explore.
"Explore recognises that agents are an integral part of its distribution strategy and Morrissey’s new position will allow Explore to increase its physical presence in the field by visiting more agents, more often," said the company.
Earlier this year, Explore reported a 35% increase in agent sales year-on-year.
Morrissey said: “I am looking forward to working closely with agents and offering them additional support and training."
