Explore Holidays is offering the opportunity to sample Hong Kong’s newest attraction, the ‘Ngong Ping 360’ cable car experience on Lantau Island, as part of a new release four-night Hong Kong air/accommodation package.

Opened in September 2006, ‘Ngong Ping 360’ which has instantly become Hong Kong’s latest ‘must see’ attraction offers an unique new tourism experience which combines a 5.7km cable car ride with an impressive traditional Chinese cultural themed village and easy access to the Tian Tan Big Buddha.

The Ngong Ping Skyrail cable car journey is one of the most impressive projects ever constructed, with the 20-25 minute cable car journey showcasing spectacular views of Tung Chung Valley, North Lantau Country Park, Hong Kong International Airport and the South China Sea.

Ngong Ping Village is a short stroll to the Tian Tan Buddha Statue, the world’s largest, seated, outdoor bronze Big Buddha statue, weighing over 250 tonnes, 26 metres high and opened in 1993.
