Explore launches 18-30s brand
Adventure travel specialist Explore has launched an adventure brand aimed at 18-30 somethings.
Called edge, the brand will offer 75 different small-group tours with flexible itineraries in over 40 countries.
All tours will be for sale through the trade.
The operator said it has recently seen increased demand for adventure travel experiences amongst young professionals.
Explore sales director Carl Burrows said: “Like us, agents are likely to have recognised an increased demand for flexible, stress-free and social travel experiences for the young professionals market.
“Our groups will be made up of an average of 10 people and will use local transport, accommodation and restaurants to ensure that the communities we visit benefit from the tourism we create.”
Prices start from £279 per person for a long weekend to Iceland, while week-long trips start from £295.
Flights are not included in the price of edge tours, but can be arranged if required.
For customers with more time many tours trips can be strung together to create a longer ‘loop’ trip.
Agents can order Explore brochures via Trade-Gate.
