Explore Uganda brand launches in the UK
Uganda has officially launched its ‘Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa’ brand to the UK market.
The roll out included various market activations and meetings, including participation at the Experience Africa Travel Show from 26 to 28 June.
UTB CEO Lilly Ajarova said, “The UK market holds great importance for Uganda’s tourism industry.”
“We will continue raising awareness and position Uganda as the premier tourism destination in Africa.”
The ‘Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa’ brand showcases the abundant wildlife, diverse culture, cuisine, and landscapes.
During the brand launch at the Uganda High Commission, Tom Butime, Uganda’s Minister of Tourism emphasised the importance of raising awareness about Uganda’s tourism attributes.
He presented the Uganda holiday experience of adventure and unique natural beauty.
The ‘Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa’ brand aims to highlight a bucket list allure to travellers.
Meetings at the Experience Africa Travel Show engaged over 140 Africa specialist operators, showcasing the country’s tourism offerings.
