Extra Canada ski route from Zoom
Zoom Airlines is to add a Glasgow-Calary service this winter on the back of demand for ski flights to Canada.
Weekly Sunday flights will run from this month until next April with prices starting at £129 one-way plus taxes.
In addition to Calgary, Zoom offers scheduled flights from Glasgow to Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa in winter.
The airline also serves Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal from Gatwick and Manchester to Calgary and Vancouver.
The airline’s UK director Debbie Marshall said: “Canada has steadily been increasing in popularity as a top ski destination and we have experienced a great demand for our Calgary service from British snowsport devotees. Already over 1,000 people have booked seats on the new Glasgow to Calgary service which is a tremendous take-up.”
