Extra Masterclass 2011: Can all-inclusives be sustainable?

Who gets the benefits? Are all-inclusives really profitable and for whom? Can communities benefit? Are they environmentally friendly? Can they be sustainable at any stretch of the imagination? These, and many more, are the questions that are on the table to be answered at this special masterclass to discuss the effect of all inclusives on communities and tourists and the tourism industry in general.
Called as a result of the UK’s leading light of mainstreaming sustainability – TUI PLC – announcing that one of its major brands is to be 100% all inclusive.
The half-day masterclass is to be held in central London on 10 May. It will be streamed live globally and will have a tweet deck.
It is hoped that TUI, in particular will attend and present – other major tour operators have also been invited.
Sustainable Tourism Masterclasses have been held for the last three years and have attracted full houses of attendees and top speakers of global repute.

The cost of attending the masterclass is £100 per person.
