Extra Stansted-Manchester flight added
Eastern Airways is to raise frequency on Stansted-Manchester route from three to four flights a day.
The regional airline, which reintroduced services to Manchester after Air Berlin withdrew from the route in October, will increase flights from April 7.
The new schedule will see weekday departures leaving Stansted at 08.45, 12.30, 16.00 and 19.20. From Manchester, flights will depart at 07.15, 11.05, 14.20 and 17.50.
To coincide with the additional frequency, the carrier has introduced lower one-way fares starting at £49 including taxes, fees and charges.
Chief operating officer Chris Holliday said: “We are further enhancing our business schedules, offering commuters greater choice, convenience and flexibility to help them make the best use of day trips.”
