Maldives resort Fairmont Maldives, Sirru Fen Fushi, dubbed ‘Secret Water Island’ by locals, has rolled out a series of new resort experiences.

It is located in the Shaviyani Atoll – one of the archipelago’s most unspoilt islands.

New experiences range from pop-up cinema nights to new treatments at the recently revamped Fairmont Spa.

The Maldives resort showcases new Beach Tented Villas, a safari-style lodging surrounded by tropical jungle.

This luxury glamping adventure features private cinema screenings, unique wellness options and seafood BBQ’s.

Fairmont Spa offers varied treatments to alleviate anxiety, stress and tension.

In addition, there are daily yoga sessions overlooking the vast ocean.

The resort also offers community-focused and marine conservation missions for guests.

This includes a guided tour of the Coralarium, a coral regeneration project in the form of an underwater art gallery which is home to over 100 species of fish.

The resort’s Sustainability Lab allows guest to become artistic eco-warriors.

They are able to transform bottles and ghost nets into souvenirs and useful products.

This could be stationery and furniture for local hospitals and schools.

After a day of giving back to the community, guests are invited to dine at the resort’s four restaurants, including sea-to-table dining at Azure and Japanese-inspired dishes at Kata.
