Falklands tours to mark 25th anniversary of war

Leger Holidays is to run tours to the Falkland Islands next year to mark the 25th anniversary of the war on the south Atlantic islands.

The 12-day trips via Santiago in Chile include eight days on the islands including visits to battlefield sites such as Goose Green and Port Stanley.

There are three departures – May 17 and 31 and November 8 – with prices starting at £2,499.

The dates of two of the holidays – May 31 and November 8 – have been selected to coincide with anniversary events and ceremonies commemorating the 10-week conflict in 1982.
