Fall at Sesame Place: Mazes, shows and big group discounts
Sesame Place is gearing up for the fall and winter holidays, converting parts of its water park into mazes and entertainment areas and dropping its group rates as the high season comes to an end.
Starting Sept. 6, the Fall Group Rate cuts prices to just $25 per person for groups of 15 or more, a 60% discount, plus groups get one free ticket for every 10 tickets purchased.
The rate is good through Oct. 27 with a 14-day minimum advance purchase.
Groups also can buy discounted meal certificates for $9 per person, or arrange for breakfast with the cast.
Groups of 50 or more can book catering packages in Big Bird’s Riverside Pavilion, notes spokesperson Susan Godfrey.
The park will feature two giant themed mazes beginning Sept. 28, and is adding shows, a character hayride and special events including The Count’s Batty Birthday Bash, Abby Cadabby’s Fairy Pumpkin Party, Zoe’s Monster Mash Dance Party and Grover’s No-So-Spooky Birthday.
The Sesame-Street themed park in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, also is taking reservations for its fall line-up of concerts and events, featuring Yo Gabba Gabba’s DJ Lance Rock and friends, Caillou’s Musical Playdate, and Super WHY Live!
Most concerts are free with admission to the park, but reservations are required. They can be booked online or by calling the park.
Beginning November 23, the park will be totally rethemed into a Winter Wonderland, with a trackless train ride, gingerbread cookie factory, Santa’s workshop, and, of course, visits by Santa himself.
