Family-run agency joins Advantage
Long-established travel agency World Market Travel in Bath has joined Advantage Travel Partnership.
The agency was set up in 1981 by brothers Tim and Peter Giles.
Before that they had both had senior executive positions with Renwicks Travel, which had over 50 offices.
Peter has been in the travel agency business for 57 years and still works full time in Bath booking holidays by appointment and running the business with Tim, who has been in travel for around 45 years.
The agency was with The Travel Network Group (Worldchoice) for more than 15 years, where Tim served on Worldchoice Board.
"We have always tried to keep pace with the ever-changing challenges in the travel industry," said Tim Giles.
"Three years ago we became the first Kuoni partner store which has proved to be a massive benefit to our business. Similarly, we have now made the decision to change consortium as we feel Advantage is more likely to offer the solutions we are looking for in the future to advance our business overall. The change of consortium has not been an easy decision to make but we are confident it is the correct action to take going forward."
