Farebase website to include non-air suppliers

Friday, 24 Oct, 2006 0

Ancillary suppliers are to feature on a revamped Farebase website.

The new-look is to include expanded supplier content and enhanced technology that enables agents to view consolidated and published fares, charter flights and low-cost carriers in a single integrated search rather than multiple searches.

The website has been redesigned to make it easier to use, with the capacity to feature ancillary suppliers such as car hire, hotels, insurance and airport car parking.

TelMe Farebase managing director Peter Muller said: “The website has been re-designed to make it as easy as possible for agents to search and book all fare types using the new one search facility, saving time and improving efficiency.

“Our vision is to further develop the website so that agents will be able to access one single source to meet all of their travel requirements. We plan to announce details of new ancillary suppliers coming on board shortly.”

To mark the re-launch, Farebase is offering a free 14-day trial. Visit www.farebase.co.uk
