Fast cars and Finland: Dare you give it a go?
Finnish Lapland has a special offer for adrenalin junkies: extreme driving on Finland’s winter tracks.
Drivers will be able to test themselves on the tracks where the likes of Formula 1 and Rally world champions Kimi Raikkonen, Mika Hakkinen and Juha Kankkunen all honed their skills.
Just south of the Finnish Lapland border in the town of Kuusamo, four times World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen and his team of experts offer the ultimate driving experience on two snow and ice circuits.
Drivers are taught how to control a car at high speed on an ice-covered racing circuit, while they also have the opportunity to sit in a rally car with Kankkunen and experience the winter track at 200kmph.

Saariselka’s Action Park, 250km north of the Arctic Circle, offers a range of winter driving programmes, from ice karting on hilly and winding snow tracks, through to co-piloting a high-performance rally car with a professional driver behind the wheel.

The capital of Finnish Lapland, Rovaniemi in the south west of Lapland, is not only the official residence of Santa Claus but is also home to Arctic Motor Park.
The park offers fun driving experiences in cars, karts, crawlers and snowmobiles on five different tracks.
The company also runs Snow Rally Rings in nearby Vanttausjarvi, where drivers can try their hand at rallying with studded winter tyres.
