Fatal stabbing in Ayia Napa
A 22-year-old British man was stabbed to death on the last night of his holiday in Ayia Napa.
He suffered fatal neck wounds while out clubbing with friends in the early hours of Sunday morning in the popular Cyprus resort.
The two attackers also stabbed his friend in the back but his injuries were not life-threatening.
George Low, from Kent, had worked as a night club manager in the party resort for two seasons but had returned to Britain to work as an estate agent.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said it was providing support to the family and will remain in contact with the local authorities who are investigating.
Witnesses said the suspects were both young. One was described as chubby and short and was wearing jeans and a white shirt. The second was described as short with black hair and was shirtless.
According to the local media, police said it appeared the victims had been in a previous argument with the perpetrators who also appeared to be foreigners.
