FCm makes £80m growth bid

Thursday, 25 Jun, 2010 0

FCm Travel Solutions is to recruit six new business development managers in a effort to grow the business travel agency by £80 million over the next 12 months.

The team will be headed up by new head of UK sales Alex Armstrong, whose CV includes time as business development manager at Flight Centre where he launched the company’s Corporate Traveller brand.

Said Armstrong: “The addition of six new business development managers is a huge boost to the sales team, meaning we now have a total of ten sales people focussing on the medium to large client market.”

“The new recruits will be based across the country in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester and London. FCm UK currently has over £120 million of new business in the pipeline, so I have every confidence that we will hit our target of £80 million for our financial year which runs from end June 2010 to July next year.”
