FCm Travel Solutions opens Dubai office
FCm global executive general manager Anthony Grigson said Dubai had been identified as a strategic market.
“This is a small and strategic investment that reflects our policy of extending the FCm Travel Solutions network to key international markets that are important to our local, regional and global clients,” he said.
“Our presence in Dubai means we are now better placed to meet the corporate travel needs of local businesses and also the needs of international clients with commercial interests in this important commercial hub.
“Working with our existing network partner in the Middle East, our Dubai office will have the capability to manage client needs across all key areas of this region.”
The new operation will be managed by Rahul Nath, who already manages the FCm’s Indian business.
The opening of FCm Dubai comes after recent acquisitions in the US, where Flight Centre fully acquired Chicago-based Bannockburn Travel Management and gained a 25% stake in Boston-based Garber Travel Services.
