Feefo offers video feedback as standard
Global feedback engine Feefo is now allowing video reviews at no extra charge to merchants.
For 2016, the ratings and reviews provider will offer the service as standard, instead of charging more as is the case for other review sites.
Travel clients that use Feefo include Monarch, Expedia.co.uk and Booking.com.
A Feefo spokesman said: "Overall, 93% of global travellers say their booking decisions are impacted by online reviews with 70% looking at up to 20 reviews in the planning phase.
"Video reviews are the perfect way to bring the customer experience to life in a genuine way.
"They also offer a more spontaneous and convenient way for customers to leave feedback, with videos able to be recorded and uploaded from a smartphone in a matter of minutes."
