Ferry line strengthens ties with travel trade
Brittany Ferries has appointed Dan Joynes to the position of business and trade development manager in order to strengthen the company’s relationship with the travel trade.
Joynes, aged 32, joined the ferry operator in 2002, where he has handled key tour operator accounts. Handing him responsibility for retail agency sales will enable the company to have greater focus on the travel trade, said Brittany.
“Brittany Ferries have always viewed the trade as an important part of the business and I look forward to developing the relationships that are already in place and tapping into the opportunities that are available to us," said Joynes.
"I would certainly like to see more agents selling our huge range of ferry-inclusive holidays which, in fact, offer good rates of commission as well as being easy to sell.”
