FHA confirms date for Shades Day
Travel industry professionals are being invited to take part in Shades Day on Friday May 19, the special national fundraising day organised by the Family Holiday Association.
Launched last year, everyone is encouraged to wear sunglasses for charity, whatever the weather, and share photos in their sunglasses on social media.
The event also encourages travel industry staff to hold fun shades-related fundraising activities in their offices and shops throughout the day.
All Shades Day ‘Stars’ will receive a fundraising pack in advance to help make the most of the day.
To become a Shades Day Star and get your own pack ready for the day, sign up online by visiting www.familyholidayassociation.org.uk/shades-day-stars-pledge or email [email protected].
The event helps raise funds to enable the FHA to provide children and their families, struggling with some of the toughest challenges life can bring, a short break or day trip to the British seaside.
