Fiji Airways trialling cashless transactions at New Zealand airports
Fiji Airways will begin testing cashless transactions at New Zealand airports this week.
Starting on May 10, 2018, the airline will only accept major international credit and debit cards or New Zealand EFTPOS cards at Wellington and Christchurch airports.
Card payments only will be allowed for flight ticket purchases, Business Class upgrades, lounge access and other ancillary add-ons such as baggage fees and other seat upgrades.
Fiji Airways currently operates 15 flights a week to New Zealand including three per week between Christchurch and Nadi.
